Knowledge exchange

In 2012 the ACSRF supported measures to increase the exchange of knowledge about Australia China science and research collaboration by hosting a Knowledge Exchange Symposium​.

The centre undertakes research on strategic water resources management, with the aim of improving water productivity and efficiency, food security, community resilience and economic returns, while protecting water ecosystems.

Program Evaluation

In 2016, ACIL Allen Consulting conducted an evaluation of the Australia-China Science and Research Fund (ACSRF). The evaluation covered the period 2011–12 to 2013–14. It examined the ACSRF from the point of view of: appropriateness; effectiveness; efficiency; integration; performance assessment; and strategic policy alignment. The evaluation found that the ACSRF funding is supporting the development of enduring collaborative partnerships between Australian and Chinese researchers and is delivering on its objectives.
