The Australian Innovation System Report is an annual series of reference reports that:
- Compile and analyse quantitative and qualitative data on business innovation and innovation–related activities such as skills development, education, research and development and capital investment
- Outlines achievements and actions of Australian innovators
- Outlines challenges and opportunities for Australian innovation.

Innovation Policy Report
The Innovation Policy Report is compiled by the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science, and aims to highlight departmental, national and international developments in the innovation policy area. It also includes summaries of relevant innovation documents and events.
Science, Research and Innovation Budget tables
The Science, Research and Innovation (SRI) Budget Tables report on Australian Government expenditure on research and development over a 10 year period, including Budget estimates for the current financial year. The tables have been released annually since 1979-80
National Survey of Research Commercialisation
The NSRC is a survey of research commercialisation inputs, activity and outputs for Australian publicly funded research organisations, including universities, government research agencies and medical research institutes. The survey is undertaken on a biennial basis.
Prime Minister’s Science, Engineering and Innovation Council papers
The Prime Minister's Science, Engineering and Innovation Council (PMSEIC) was the Australian government's principal source of advice on science, engineering and innovation issues between 1997 and 2013.

The Australian Science, Technology and Engineering Council (ASTEC) was a statutory body that provided advice to Government on science and technology policy matters between 1977 and 1998.
VOCEDplus is a free international research database for tertiary education, especially as it relates to workforce needs, skills development, and social inclusion. The database includes many papers and documents relating to Australian science, research and innovation policy.
