Boosting Aus-China research collaboration: Round 3 ACSRF priority areas announced

The Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, Arthur Sinodinos, has announced the priority areas for Round 3 of the Australia–China Science and Research Fund (ACSRF) Joint Research Centres (JRCs).
The JRCs will benefit crucial industry sectors and will ensure continued Australia–China collaboration on innovation. Round 3 of the JRCs will focus on the priority areas of advanced manufacturing, medical technologies and pharmaceuticals, and resources and energy.
Round 3 of the JRCs is expected to open for applications in the second half of 2017. Find updates at www.science.gov.au/ACSRF.
The ACSRF is a bilateral funding initiative that supports strategic science, technology and innovation collaboration between Australia and China.
Joint Research Centres are virtual Centres, which link Australian and Chinese research institutions conducting a portfolio of research related activities in a specified field of research.
