Released: the latest NSRC data and web-based visualisation tool – NSRC Viz

10 July 2017

The latest National Survey of Research Commercialisation (NSRC) data release is now available on the department’s website and includes a new visualisation tool – NSRC Viz.

The NSRC has been reporting on how the publicly funded research sector collaborates with industry to transfer knowledge and commercialise research since 2000.

Collected by the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science, the 2015 data shows a number of positive short-term trends including growth in researcher-industry collaborations.

Now for the first time, the survey data is represented through an innovative visualisation tool – NSRC Viz, which enables users to select a range of metrics and institutions to produce customised visualisations through interactive charts and maps.

The new web-based tool along with the latest NSRC case studies will help government, industry, the research sector and the broader community, understand how research institutions are working to translate their great ideas into innovative solutions.
